From the Shaping Room to the Living Room

Born from a personal need to progress, designed to be a lifelong training companion.

01 — The Shaper's Origin

A Personal Need

As a longboard surfer and former shaper from a young age, Olo Design was born out of my own frustration. I needed a tool to improve my technique and learn new tricks when the waves weren't working. I wanted a system that guides you through the entire process: starting on a balance board, transitioning to a skate, and finally mastering those exact same moves in the ocean.

02 — Built for Progression

Cross-steps to Hang Heels

This is a highly specific tool built for a dedicated community. It's meant to be a training companion that walks the entire journey with you. Whether you are learning your very first cross-steps or mastering highly complex maneuvers like the 'Hang Heels' (standing with heels on the nose, back facing forward), this board is engineered to get you there. I've spent years developing this mechanism, and the pursuit of perfecting it never stops.

03 — Functional Art

An Industrial Art Piece

Performance is only half the story. The Olo board was designed with an uncompromising aesthetic vision. When your session is over, it doesn't get hidden in a closet. Resting on its custom wooden stand, it transforms into a unique piece of industrial art, proudly displayed in your living room.
